Strike, Spare, Smiling Faces!

Strike, Spare, Smiling Faces! DeuceDays on Tuesdays are always fun and rowdy, but this week's event was super loud and crazy. Eleven upper elementary kids from the Hunter Oaks Apartment Complex Tutoring Center spent an hour bowling at Lawril Lanes (1423 Old Square Road, Jackson) on Tuesday, February 13th. The first three lanes were reserved for our DeuceDay when we walked in the door. The kids bowled in sock feet and skidded along with their bowling balls. Everyone was able to calculate scores and see who was in the lead, congratulating their peers on a job well done! Some of the girls perfected 'granny bowling' and the guys were super competitive, bragging about each of their strikes or spares. The afternoon ended with a treat of chocolate and strawberry Valentine cupcakes.
